Lyngholt Camping is a GreenStay-certified nature campsite that stretches over 140,000 m2 of natural land in the hilly landscape of northern Bornholm, just 750 meters from the coast. The site is run by Sanna and Michael, who have a great love for the Bornholm nature and the many adventures that can be found behind every rock and tree in the unique landscape.

- We bought Lyngholt Camping in 2019 with the desire to make our passion for an active lifestyle and our love of nature our way of life and create an adventurous base for our entire family. We haven't regretted it, because even our grown-up children love coming here, and every day is an adventure when you live and work in the middle of nature, says Sanna, who was born and raised on Bornholm.

- We know nothing better than to guide our guests on new adventures, allowing everyone to experience the unique nature that Lyngholt Camping is a part of. There is so much to experience directly from the campsite, says Sanna and Michael, who both grew up on Bornholm and are avid users of nature themselves.

Every day during the high season, the welcoming hosts also provide activities on site for both young and old. Because sometimes adventure can also be found in the small things.

For example, when you can sink your teeth into a freshly smoked fish from Lyngholt's smoking oven, join the communal barbecue with all the other guests, or be part of the fun when sno bread dough is conjured up for the entire campsite's children. Then laugh and chat over the embers while the aroma of freshly baked sno bread fills the air.

SUNSET AND COMMUNAL BARBECUES

Everyone who visits Lyngholt Camping becomes part of Sanna and Michael's Bornholm family, which is why every week during the high season there is a barbecue evening where we all eat together while local musicians entertain in the cozy square.

And if you feel like it, you can end the evening by walking through the site's small forest and enjoy the evening rays of the sun sinking into the Baltic Sea after a long day of new experiences and new friends.
