A family business for more than 100 years

Timeline

Lyngholt through time

For 100 years, families have lived and worked on Lyngholt's property in harmony with the nature of the North Country. Now a new generation has taken over and is ready to welcome you to Lyngholt Camping.

Sanna & Michael

4. Generation

Sanna and Michael are not related to the original founders of Lyngholt Camping, but became part of the "Lyngholt family" when they took over the site in 2019.

3. Generation

In 1990, Pia and Werner Pass took over Lyngholt Camping from Pia's parents, Doris and Carlo Jensen. They ran the site until 2019, when they decided to sell to Sanna and Michael.

2. Generation

Doris and Carlo Jensen took over an abandoned farm in 1963 and started Lyngholt Camping, which they have run for almost 30 years.

1. Generation

Lyngholt was originally run as a farm, and you can still find traces of that time around the forest. Here are the original photos from 1904 of the farm, which was then inhabited by mother, father and 13 children.
