At Lyngholt Camping you live close to the coast in the heart of the unique nature of Nordland, so whether you're hiking, biking, running or driving, you're never far from great experiences. We're ready to help you plan exciting nature routes that suit your needs - and many of them start right here on site.
Hiking & Running routes
The area around Lyngholt Camping is filled with short and long hiking and running trails, most of which start directly from the campsite. Here you can easily and quickly reach the coast through Slotslyngen, where you can either head north (to Hammershus Castle Ruin and Hammerknuden) or south (to Vang fishing village and Blåskinsdalen). Whichever way you go, you'll pass some of the most spectacular scenery Bornholm has to offer and see many historical sights along the way. We're happy to help you plan a good route that suits your level.
Action
If you like to make active use of nature, there are plenty of wild and daring activities in the area for the whole family. See Hammerknuden on horseback, experience the rocky coasts from the sea or try your hand at climbing, abseiling or ziplining over the blue waters of Lake Opal. You can also enjoy the view from the local tree climbing course or try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding, diving or kayaking at Sandvig beach. We are ready to guide you on an active vacation in nature.
Beach
Need a dip after a hot day? Then we have several beautiful beaches close by. You can either head north to Hammerhavn or Sandvig beach, or south to Vang, where you can enjoy the blue waves of the Baltic Sea. You can also stay on site and take a dip in our swimming pool.
Bike routes
Bornholm is packed with great cycling paths and routes. From Lyngholt Camping you can easily cycle to Hasle in the south and Allinge-Sandvig in the north within a few kilometers. We're happy to help you plan a good day's route where you can see some of the island's major sights along the way.
