Lyngholt Camping is a GreenStay-certified nature campsite located in the middle of North Bornholm's most stunning nature, just 750 meters from the coast. So whether you need to slow down or get your heart rate up, the deep forests, rocky shores, beautiful lakes and unique granite quarries offer spectacular experiences for the whole family. Here you're far away from everyday life and close to the people you love the most.
We are a family-owned campsite that lives and works in harmony with nature, in the middle of Slotslyngen's unique nature and close to the rocky shores of the Baltic Sea. Not far from here, Hammershus Castle ruins stand as a testimony to the area's unique historical past, while the blue waters of Opalsøen beckon water lovers and daredevils alike. Paradise for families with children
Pool area with slide, playgrounds for both older and younger children, soccer fields and fishing lake. We make vacationing fun when you're a kid.
During the high season, the swimming pool is a great place to play and make new friendships, organize joint barbecues for all guests on the site, bake s'mores over a bonfire, and organize other fun events where you can have a great time together.
The site is no bigger than it is easy to make new friends, so it probably won't be the last time the kids will be begging to go to Lyngholt Camping. Be warned.

At Lyngholt Camping we have approx. 200 units divided into cabins, luxury shelters and pitches for caravans, motorhomes or tents. All beautifully located on our hilly natural terrain in the middle of the North Country.

Unique nature
Lyngholt Camping is located in the middle of the North Country, which offers some of Bornholm's most spectacular nature. At the campsite, you can head straight out on marked hiking and running trails that will take you on the most amazing adventures. The legendary nature around us has a mythical, magical atmosphere that can make both young and old believe in fairy tales.
Experience Bornholm up close
Some of the biggest attractions on Bornholm are right in our backyard. So whether you want to visit Hammershus Castle Ruin, zipline across Lake Opal, explore one of our granite quarries or visit idyllic fishing villages along the coast, we'll help you plan the best experiences. And we're happy to share our secret tips for Bornholm.
Activities on site
During the school summer vacation, we plan lots of fun activities for the whole family. Have you ever tried smoking your own fish before? Or maybe you're more of a bonfire cookery fan? We also invite you to barbecues with live music and pool parties for all the water lovers on site. Sometimes the greatest adventures are just around the corner, so come and have fun with us on site.

The structure of the space
On-site facilities
At Lyngholt Camping we offer a wide range of facilities to create the best setting for your vacation.
Laying areas
We have 2 playgrounds with bouncy castles for both younger and older children. We also have a soccer field, mooncar track, mini golf and an indoor activity room. And we have 80,000 sqm of forest with room for play and adventure.
Outdoor grill
We have grills in several places on the site for free use - and you can also borrow a grill. During the school summer holidays, we organize joint barbecues in the square by the pool area. We also have also have 2 fire pits on the site.
Communal kitchen
We have 2 communal kitchens on site where you can enjoy cooking. There is also theYou can also rent a small fridge. If you come by bike or are traveling light, you can rent an equipment box with dishes and cooking utensils.
Swimming pool
Our pool is heated and open from June 15 to August 31 (weather permitting). There's a shallow pool for toddlers and a deeper pool for older children with a slide. There are also sun loungers around the pools for when you need a rest in the sun.
Hiking trails
There are marked trails in our surrounding forest and in Slotslyngen as well as good marked trails to Hammershus Castle Ruin, Ringebakkebruddet, Vang's idyllic fishing village and many other beautiful places. Maps are available at the reception.
More living spaces
If you want to spend time indoors, we have a living room with sofas, TV, a small library, table tennis and a playroom. Here you can enjoy a good game night or relax with a good book. We also have several atmospheric outdoor seating areas on site.
